IN FONDEST MEMORY

TADEUSZ ORLOWICZ (d.1976)

Tadeusz Orlowicz, who died of a heart attack on 3rd February, was one of the most distinguished stage designers to have worked at The Questors. Particularly adept at making much out of the simplest things, he made many imaginative contributions to our work in the old tin hut theatre. He will probably be best remembered however, for his striking set, on the much larger scale of the new theatre, for the opening production of Brand in 1964.
